The logo, where graphic identity begins, and the reason I was attracted to design in the first place. Creating a mark that successfully represents a brand is one of my favorite design challenges.

Print is not dead. While it’s not as in demand as it once was, I still love designing a piece that can be touched and felt.

Ever-changing technology and the possibilities can be overwhelming. User experience doesn’t have to be. Coming up with organized, thoughtful solutions is what I enjoy most when designing for the screen.

Whether rockin’ or funkin’, making music and entertaining with a band makes me happy. I started at the age of eleven, inspired by MTV rock videos of the 80s. However, it was the soulful sounds of the 60s and 70s coming from my parents’ radio that remain my biggest influences. Many of them played by my favorite studio bass legends, Joe Osborn and Motown’s James Jamerson.
